Jules Taylor Sauvignon Blanc 2015 $14.99
This Sauvignon Blanc captures the true essence of Marlborough. Aromas leap out of the glass in an explosion of passionfruit, grapefruit, white fleshed nectarines and notes of nettle and jalapeño pepper. The palate shows concentrated flavours of citrus, passionfruit and lemon grass. It has a nice texture with a firm backbone of juicy acidity. -winery notes

Bodegas las Orcas Solar de Randez Rose Rioja 2014 $14.99
A stunning Rioja Rosado that is made from 60% Garnacha, 10% Tempranillo, 30% Viura.  This delightful Rosado is made in the Provencal style, veering away from the typical ‘Spanish’ approach to bigger rosé wines, and venturing into the more ‘French’ approach of lighter body and fruit. Beautifully pale in color, with great aromas and flavors of red fruit with ama depth of minerality, this spring release is perfect for many types of cuisine, and a perfect option for those seeking a leaner style rosé from Spain.

Stevenson-Barrie Freedom Hill Pinot Noir 2012 $29.99
Michael Stevenson is the winemaker at Panther Creek Winery. Stevenson Barrie is his personal winery, and he makes very small amounts of his wines. His Pinot Noir has a subtle, clean, and fresh style. He ages in used oak barrels, and his wine-making style emphasizes restraint. The Duschee Family planted the Freedom Hill vineyard in 1982.  The wine has a medium reddish-purple color in the glass. Aromas of dark red cherries, black raspberries, brier, oak and spice.  Earthy, slightly smoky, dark red fruited with a medium weight on the palate.

Ransom Grenache Willamette Valley 2011 $22.99
At Pheasant Hill Vineyard in the Southern Cascades, Grenache has found a new foothold. Opening with fetching aromatics of sweet pea, pomegranate, and a hint of lavender, the palate is rich and resonant with flavors of mountain sage and plum conserve and a vein of lively acidity. The finish is long and lithe, conjuring aromatics of spring iris blossoms emerging from the earth. Elegant and worthy of cellaring, but open and ready to drink now.

Lanzos Tempranillo 2013 $11.99
(100% tempranillo, done entirely in stainless steel):  Bright purple.  Black and blue fruits on the perfumed nose and in the mouth.  Lively and focused, showing good punch and a slightly clenched quality to its juicy, spice-tinged finish.

Riebeek Pinotage 2013 $9.99
The color is an attractive bright, ruby red with a purple rim, typical of a young Pinotage. The flavors of this unique South African cultivar are complex and exciting with ripe plum and fruitcake all beautifully integrated and then finished with subtle oak for a lingering aftertaste.
